it's dark - you've been bound from head to toe, leaving nothing but your nose uncovered so that you can breathe; not only that, but you can feel constraints—around your neck, binding your ankles, and chains on your arms, binding them to your chest; you're almost like king tutankhamun, except you're alive. a chain is around your neck, and there is the vaccine. it's so close - yet, so far. . . but no matter how much you struggle, you can't get out - and it hurts to struggle, with the virus in your bloodstream a web of spindly pain shoots from your chest to your limbs, and you know you'll die soon enough.

so all you can do is wait, and wait you do - for your ████. you don't know what he looks like, but he will be the one to save you. . . . possibly. what he's like, you're not sure. . . all you know is that you're the ██████, and you'll protect him with your life. that's what you are for.

soon enough - you hear movement, and you mumble through the bandages, trying to get his attention. you hear a voice in the intercom.
